Quick Guide
1. Download IPSwitcher and then run it. IPSwitcher setup will guide you through the installation process.
2. Click Next -> English -> Next -> Yes -> Next -> Typical -> Next -> Finish in order. Then All installation process will
be finished.
3. Start IPSwitcher Professional application. By default the new empty routing configuration will be created.
We can edit the routing entry according to the following information:

<Properties>
- Destination : The IP address and URL address of the destination. This can be address of a host, subnet, network, or
default gateway.
- Interface : Your computer's IP address (the address from which you send packets). Any by default means that
IPSwitcher Pro will set it automatically from the available interfaces list.
- Gateway : The IP address where your computer will forward packets. Your computer will use this address if it can't
find a route to the destination IP address in a packet.
- Mask : The subnet mask for the destination network address.
- Metric : Specifies a routing-protocol-specific metric value.
If we need additional routing entry, add new routing entry by selecting Configuration -> New -> Routing Entry item
As soon as the routing entry is applied, every routing entry is transferred into a record within the local routing table. Any of the routing entries would be removed from the table when this routing entry is canceled.

4. Example of IPSwitcher Pro Usage
To illustrate how IPSwitcher Pro can be used in some typical situation lets consider an example:
Lets imagine that youve got two network connections:
1) Leased line to connect to some special location (e.g. another office)
2) ADSL
Of course, ADSL is faster than the leased line, and it would be better to use only ADSL. But some of your office applications need to use the leased line (due to security or any other reason). So, every time you need to switch your network connections back and forth. In case if you need to connect to your office ? you should disconnect ADSL and activate leased line. If you have finished your work and would like to use the Internet ? firstly you need to disconnect from the leased line and activate ADSL. It could be really wearisome to do these switches several times during a day. You need some tool to avoid these useless efforts.
Lets see how IPSwitcher Pro can help you in this situation.

Here is a simple step-by-step guide:
1) Start IPSwitcher Pro application. By default the new empty routing configuration will be created. If your
IPSwitcher Pro configured to open the last opened file at startup ? please, click the toolbar button or select
File ->New menu item to create a new document with a new empty configuration.
2) Now we are ready to create our own configuration. Lets edit this new configuration. We need to rename it and
add a couple of routing entries. In our example the configuration will appear as follows:
Where:
www.kornet.net - Web-address office, which we need to conne
through the leased line;
192.168.0.212 - gateway of the leased line;
192.168.0.201 - gateway of ADSL.
2)
After the configuration was created just double click on Example Configuration, or click the toolbar button to
apply it. And thats all!
3)
After that you can close IPSwitcher Pro window (just click button on the right top corner of the window or
select File -> Close item in the main menu) to keep the place on your desktop (IPSwitcher Pro will not be really
closed, only minimized into the Tray Bar).
NOTE: But do not exit it! If you select File -> Exit item IPSwitcher Pro will finish execution and all applied
configurations will be canceled automatically.

Now lets have a closer look at that example configuration. What does it do?

It consists of two routing entries. The first one configures the system to send all outgoing network traffic to destination www.kornet.net through the leased line gateway. The second routing entry is used to send rest of the traffic through ADSL gateway. Thats what we need.
