Overview
TCP Configurations frame contains only currently
existing (previously saved) configurations. You
can load any of these configurations (for changing
or applying), create new configuration or delete
selected configuration. There are 2 main buttons
within this frame:
New - New
configuration (based on currently selected configuration)
will be created by clicking this button. If you
want to create new configuration that is based
on any of your existing configurations ? you have
to select this existing configurations first and
then click this New
button. If you want to change current configuration
to one of the default (original) configurations
? it can be done by clicking Default...¡¦
button. That means that you can select any of
the Default configurations as well as Current
(live) configurations and load them into main
screen. Don¡¯t forget to save your new configurations
by clicking Save
button;
Delete -
Use this button to delete selected configuration
from the TCP Configurations list.
NOTE: It's
important to know that each TCP configuration
contains information about correspondent network
adapter. Sometimes on loading (or even during
work of the program) some of the Network adapters
could be disabled (or enabled). In case if you
will try to select configuration with the currently
disabled network adapter - you will get a message
to choose another adapter for this TCP Configuration.
If you will press NO
button within this dialog - then next available
configuration will be loaded automatically. In
case if all configurations don't have any valid
network adapter - program will quit.
There are several possible actions that can be
performed with TCP configurations:
Create New Configuration
New configuration (based on the currently selected
configuration) will be created by clicking New
button. If afterwards you will press Default...
button then it will be possible to select any of
the default settings or current (live) for the selected
network adapter. This new configuration will be
loaded (but not applied). More detail explanation
you will find in Main Screen Operation and Default
Configuration Screen sections of this manual. Maximum
amount of different configurations is limited to
ten.
Load Selected Configuration
In order to load selected configuration it¡¯s necessary
just to select it from the TCP
Configurations frame by arrow keys or by
mouse clicking. This does not mean selected configuration
will be applied once highlighted. This means that
all configuration data (such as IP addresses, Gateways,
DNS and so on) will be shown in the edit fields.
Now you can actually apply this configuration by
clicking Apply button.

Delete Selected Configuration
Currently selected configuration will be deleted
by pressing Delete
button. You will get a message to confirm if this
operation should be continued or not:

Once you will make a choice to continue (by clicking
OK button) ? then mentioned
above configuration will be deleted.
